The updated Ukrainian National H-index Ranking 2023 has been published

The Ukrainian National H-index Ranking is aimed at assessing the scientific productivity of scientists, research groups and organizations based on the consolidated Hirsch index.

The ranking takes into account the total Hirsch index of Ukrainian scientific institutions, taking into account information from scientometric databases and platforms such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Based on these data, the National H-index Ranking indicator and the corresponding ranked position in the ranking (Position) are formed.

The ranking includes not only universities, but also the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Bogolyubov Institute of Theoretical Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and the National Science Center Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology. The Ukrainian Engineering -Pedagogics Academy is on the 248th position out of 438.

Olga Blagiy completed her scientific internship under the CEEPUS program

The Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogical Academy has joined the Central European Mobility Program for university researching CEEPUS, which is being implemented for the first time for Ukrainians.

From June 26 to July 9, 2022 Senior Lecturer of Food Technologies, light industry and design Department Olga Blahyi was invited to the scientific fellowship under the CEEPUS program, namely Summer School “Economic, ecological and social aspects of food waste” in Rzeszow (Poland).

Coordinators of the International Scientific School dr. Maciej Kluz (head of the Podkarpacie branch of the Polish Society of Food Technologists, Rector’s Coordinator for National Agency for Academic Exchange Projects) and Karol Pietrzyk (PhD student) prepared high-value and active program, which was provided at the best level. During the first week, teacher staff of the Institute of food technologies and human nutrition of the University of Rzeszow conducted guided tours of the Department, presented the modern equipment and performed a series of master-classes on making kombucha and chips from processed bananas. During the second week of the internship was reviewed the chocolate production line at Korczyna – M . Pelczar. Was held workshops on making Neapolitan pizza and national dishes from different countries of the world. In the economic and ecological direction was visited the waste processing factory and participated in the workshop “Flora and fauna of example ecosystems and the possibilities of using Lumbricidae for green recycling”. UEPA has joined an international project to reduce energy consumption

Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy (UEPA) has become part of the scientific and practical project “Environmental Municipal Energy Consumption Management” (Nakopa-E-UKR-3-19) in the framework of municipal energy management in Vyshgorod, Kyiv region. The aim of the project, carried out by the communes of the Ukrainian city of Vyshhorod and German Eichenau, with additional funding from Engagement Global gGmbH, is to prove the possibility of a significant reduction in energy consumption in the Ukrainian climate. UEPA scientists became a Runner-up Best Paper Award Short Paper at ICL / IGIP 2020

Best paper_runner up shortCongratulations to the scientists of the Ukrainian Engineering – Pedagogics Academy for the Runner-up Best Paper Award Short Paper at the International Conference “ICL – 2020 Educating Engineers for Future Industrial Revolutions”. The conference took place in Tallinn (Estonia) on the basis of the Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech).

This year more than 200 articles were presented at the conference, which was held on-line.
